Universities generally require a minimum of two such letters.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><b>Professional Letter of Recommendation<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike an academic letter of recommendation, this form of LOR is issued by an individual\u2019s immediate supervisor. It highlights a candidate\u2019s adaptability in team projects, leadership, decision-making skills, time management and multitasking, teamwork skills, leadership ability, problem-solving skills and expertise in a specific domain.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>How to Write an LOR?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your letter of recommendation must cover the following information:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0Brief Introduction.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0Relationship \/Interactions with the individual.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> An overview of the general attributes and performance of the individual.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Soft skills of the individuals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A personal incident relevant to the professional relationship and the program the individual has applied for.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A closing statement offering an insight into the individual\u2019s recommendation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><b>Basic Format of an LOR<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A standard LOR has three sections and can be further divided into five paragraphs.
