With this checklist and the right amount of self-discipline, you\u2019ll easily blend with a lifestyle different from yours in a foreign country.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 1. Create a realistic schedule<\/b><\/h4>\n

Make a realistic schedule incorporating study, work, and your everyday tasks. Having an idea of what your week will look like will help prepare you ahead of time so that you don\u2019t end up with a pile of work on the weekends. It is important to prioritize things that you need to do and having a detailed schedule will help you stick to it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Remember that from time to time, you must revisit your schedule and move things around. This is because of the nature of study updates, work and daily activities. So, try not to make things too rigid in terms of scheduling from one task to another.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Procrastination is unavoidable, so it\u2019s important to stick to your plan. This will not only get your things done but also save you time. Remember that one step at a time will get you to the finish line.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Taking care of yourself well is essential to maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle. Balancing various things in a completely different country may overwhelm and stress you out. In these situations, take time out to relax and enjoy doing something you like. Being in a new country away from your family is not easy. So take a nap, read a new book, catch up with an old friend or talk to your family back home. Make sure to enjoy your time on the weekends and recharge yourself for the week ahead.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n
