Skills Training Australia (STA) is a registered training organization providing dedicated diploma courses in nursing, health services and ageing support since 1999. These diploma courses are designed to equip the students with the knowledge, skills and industry experience required to get rewarding employment within the industry. The highly qualified trainers at STA are dedicated to providing both skills and industry experience required to receive knowledge in the particular field. The students will further enhance their knowledge through participation in beneficial industry experiences.
Available courses
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) – A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) qualifies you to work in residential aged care facilities or as a carer in someone’s home.
- Diploma of Nursing- This course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and qualifies the graduates to work as an enrolled nurse under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Certificate III Health Services Assistance- Certificate III Health Service Assistance qualifies you to work as an assistant to a health professional in a medical environment. In completion of the course, a student is qualified to work as an assistant in nursing, nursing support worker, patient service attendant, and orderly.

- Entry requirements:
- International applicants must be 18 years or older
- Year 11 or equivalent certificate of senior secondary education
- IELTS score of 5.5. If the level of English is not sufficient, a suitable course can be organized
