Job Title: Regional Business Development Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of role

Business Development Co-Ordinator (BDC) formulate and execute a strategic business plan of international student recruitment from international market (Vietnam) Additionally, BDC will make suggestions to the admission team to best cater services to international students.

Primary responsibilities

A. Strategic Orientation

▪ Assist the formulation and execution of business policies on behalf of EEVS and its subsidiaries.
▪ Plan recruitment of students to partner institutions and add up new clients and partner institutions.
▪ Initiate, coordinate and/or contribute to admission projects, reviews and process improvement activities.
▪ Coordinate the formulation and execution of customer centric high-performance work culture in order to attain high level of stakeholder engagement

B. Operation and administrative Responsibilities

▪ Provide consultation to existing, prospective, and walk in clients and ‘close the sale’.
▪ Prepare and monitor the student’s application and maintain the student’s application record.
▪ Ensure the regular data entry (student record) in the system (CRM) and verify the data for quality conversion of lead.
▪ Coordinate the managing day to day business communication with partner institutions (universities, colleges, insurance providers, etc.)
▪ Liable to maintain the integrity of client’s data and student admission record.
▪ Provide enrolment and visa services to the client and record and manage the client’s data.
▪ Participating weekly meetings in EEVS, taking minutes and disseminate to relevant team members as required

C. Public Relation and Business Development

▪ Represent organisation to business seminars and promotional events.
▪ Conduct market research and assess and identify prospective business domains.
▪ Plan and manage client retention as well as business optimisation;
▪ Manage and convert business leads form social media, CRM, and other digital mediums.
▪ Ensure superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

D. Performance Management

▪ Monitor, evaluate and supervise and team
▪ Contribute to develop performance management plan, identify key performance indicators (KPIs)
▪ Plan training to overcome the limitation(s) of team member(s)

E. Business Reports

▪ Responsible to retrieve respective business statistics, develop report with analysis and recommendations, and communicate to senior management or board of directors

Ad-hoc responsibilities

Responsible for performing per the business requirement and/or directed by executive director or board of
management.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

▪ Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certification on education consultation

Experience

▪ 3 years of experience in consulting service (within Academic institution or international education consulting firm)
▪ Experience in policy formulation and education regarding business development and administration works
▪ Demonstrable experience selection of students with international qualifications that fits for enrolment in Australian academic institutions.
▪ Experience in allocation and management of resources, management of work allocation and team performance.

Knowledge

▪ Legislative environment of international education and education consultancy business in Australia
▪ Up to date knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code of Practice
▪ Student enrolment and visa and migration application policy and procedures
