As an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, you may apply for a temporary visa (Subclass 309) for your partner until the migrant permanent visa (Subclass 100) is decided for your partner.
This visa allows an Australian citizen’s partner or spouse, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia.
A parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen is allowed to permanently move to Australia.
A child outside Australia is permitted to permanently move to Australia to live with their parents.
